A Dark Day Indeed

The Chargers have fired Marty. Who will we get??? We suspected this might happen right after the "One and Done" but doing it now is worse. Most coaches who were available have already signed with teams. Not good. Not good at all.

Well, from reading various lists, etc., people seem to be very high on Rex Ryan (Buddy's son), Ron Rivera (Chicago's DC). I hope that they don't bring in a retread--not Norv Turner please.
Ryan and Rivera are very good defensive minds and I don't think the team needs a rah-rah coach a la Mike Singletary (no doubt good motivator).
AJ has made it clear that he thinks defense wins championship so I wouldn't be surprised if he brought in one of these two.

I agree. I don't want Norv Turner again and I don't want Singletary. I don't know anything about Rivera, but new blood would be a good thing.
